Dr Briony Norris is a urological and
robotic surgeon in Melbourne, Victoria.

After completing her medical training through the University of Melbourne in 2006, she pursued a career in urology and completed her urology training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016.

Briony has completed 2 fellowships after her general training, a Functional Urology fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital followed by an international fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Endourology at the New York University Langone Medical Centre.

Briony has presented at local and international conferences and has been published in many peer- reviewed journals.

Briony is known for her caring and compassionate bedside manner and strives to deliver the best possible care for her patients. Briony treats both men and women with urological conditions in her practice.

In addition to treating all general urological conditions, Briony has a keen interest in kidney stones, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.

Briony has a keen interest in teaching trainees and medical students, is the training supervisor at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Department of Surgery.

Dr Briony Norris treats and investigates all general urological conditions such as blood in the urine (haematuria), elevated PSA, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary incontinence, prostate enlargement, recurrent bladder infections, kidney stones, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and prostate cancer.
